Smart IV Detection System
According to the statistical data, almost 50% of the patient calls to registered nurses are requests to change IV drips. Melten’s Smart IV Detection System is capable of detecting when the IV is nearing depletion and immediately notifying the registered nurses through the nurse call system to attend to the problem, reducing the risk of air flowing into the patients’ bodies through the IV or damage to the cannula due to back flow of blood once the IV is empty.

- Once the IV drip is nearing depletion, an alarm will be automatically activated to remind the nurses.
- Coordinates with Melten Smart Bedside IoT Care System: Simultaneously triggers the alarm function of the dome lights, corridor displays, nurse station computer host, smart watches, mobile phones and other devices.
- Remotely monitors the IV drip status of each patient. The IV drip threshold can also be set and managed.
